Hello Mr. Franco and Mrs. Macsata,
I wanted to extend a thanks for supporting my lunch gaming program during the 2020-2021 school year. I used these funds to purchase modern games that generated interest with the students. Attendance was higher than ever before in the years I have ran this prior especially for the 7th grade group. It helped tremendously with soliciting participation from some of the less social students through the increased familiarity with the activities and creating a comfortable space for them to engage others. I’ve attached a photo of one group here. Though we can’t currently operate under the pandemic restrictions, we were able to run an all-virtual lunch group during the initial shutdown where students regularly attended to connect with each other. My hope is that later this year or at the start of the next we can pick up right where we left off with a new batch of students. Please excuse the belatedness of my letter, last year and this one have been unusually distracting!
